This is the programme for all exchange students admitted to a programme at either Natural Sciences or Technical Sciences.
The Autumn 2023 Intro Week is from August 20 to August 25 2023. NB: The programme will be updated on an ongoing basis until mid-August.

Who: All new international students at AU Time: Expected Sunday 20 August, time: 12:00 - 16:00 Place: On campus, by the lakeside auditoriums, Bartholins Allé 3, 8000 Aarhus C Host: International Office, AU Content: SUBJECT TO CHANGE This is your first day on campus! We will welcome you and you will get a great chance to meet your fellow students and to be introduced to your new university and city, as well as Danish culture and language. Presentations (You will receive the invite and sign-up links via e-mail): - Welcome to Aarhus University, the city of Aarhus and Aarhus Studenthouse (45 mins) (12:30) - Introduction to Denmark, Danes and Danish (45 mins) (13:30, 14:30, 15:30) - Q&A coffee with current students (20 mins) (13:30, 14:00, 14:30, 15:00 or 15:30) - Be introduced to Trust and what it means for Danish culture (short film with AU Professor Gert Tinggaard Svendsen will be shown several times during this afternoon) Before, after or inbetween presentations: - Visit our handpicked info- and student relevant booths 12:00-16:00. - Buy food, coffee and cake at our AU Cantine especially open for you on this day from 12:00-16:00. - Enjoy fun games and relax hanging with your fellow students and the Studenthouse. - Come by the AU Water Bottle booth to pick up your free Water Bottle The day is 100% FREE for you! But bring money (no cash - only credit cards) for food or bring your own lunch/afternoon snack. |
