We will welcome you and you will get a great chance to meet your fellow students and to be introduced to your new university and city, as well as Danish culture and language. Presentations - times are subject to change: - Welcome to Aarhus University, the city of Aarhus and Aarhus Studenthouse (45 mins) (12:30, 13:30) - Introduction to Danish (45 mins) (12:30, 14:30) - Q&A with current students (13:00, 14:00 or 15:00) - Be introduced to Trust and what it means for Danish culture (a short film with AU Professor Gert Tinggaard Svendsen will be shown several times during this afternoon) Before, after or in-between presentations: - Visit our handpicked info- and student relevant booths 12:00-16:00. - Buy food, coffee and cake at our AU Cantine especially open for you on this day from 12:00-16:00. - Enjoy fun games and relax hanging with your fellow students and the Studenthouse. - Come by the AU Water Bottle booth to pick up your free Water Bottle. The day is 100% FREE for you! But bring money (no cash - only credit cards) for food or bring your own lunch/afternoon snack. |

Welcome day for all new Master's level Engineering students On August 23 you are invited to the Introduction Day for all new Master's students in Engineering. On this day you will have the chance to meet representatives from your department who will introduce you to your degree programme, the local study environment and you will have the chance to meet your fellow students. The event is both for Danish students, international full-degree students and exchange students (but only Master's level).
