Non-EU full-degree students at AU who haven't previously lived in Denmark for more than three months can apply for housing through AU.
AU Housing offers temporary accommodation for your first months (max. 12) in Denmark. If you are planning to stay for longer than your offered housing contract, we recommend that you as soon as possible sign up at Student Housing Aarhus. When your lease through AU Housing expires, you will then have gained seniority enough to be offered a new place in a dorm of your own choice. Read more here.
When applying for housing through AU Housing, you cannot apply for specific properties, Instead, you can prioritize the type of housing you desire. If you want to choose exactly where you want to live, we recommned that you instead search on Student Housing Aarhus or reserve a furnished apartment at Basecamp or Unity.
