8 August - Day trip to Ebeltoft

Join us for a day trip to the charming coastal town of Ebeltoft! This is your chance to explore one of Denmark’s most picturesque towns, known for its cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and beautiful seaside views.

We will travel together by bus from Aarhus and start the day with a visit to Maltfabrikken and its observation tower, offering a great view of the area. After a lunch break (you can bring your own), you will have free time to explore Ebeltoft at your own pace.

You might want to visit the famous Fregatten Jylland, one of the world’s largest wooden warships, explore the modern Glasmuseet, stroll through the old town, or simply relax by the beach.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water – and if the weather is nice, don’t forget your swimwear!

Let’s have dinner and play games! Aarhus University is home to the beautiful University Park in the middle of campus. The park is frequently used by students as well as the rest of Aarhus’ citizens – especially in the summer. The park has a hilly terrain, lakes, and paths, which are used by students to walk from one end of campus to the other. Therefore, there is no better place for us to enjoy a picnic than here. 12 August - Canoe Trip on Aarhus River

The word "Aarhus" is old Norse for "where the river meets the sea". Therefore it is only appropiate to experience the city by canoeing down Aarhus creek or the Brabrand lake. It is a popular activity in Aarhus to rent canoes and row down the creek, which runs through the whole of Aarhus centrum. We'll meet at the renting place and then spend the afternoon rowing through the city, so you can get a different view of the city.
