AU Housing offers housing services to international guest lecturers teaching at the AU Summer University 2025.
Below you can find information about the following housing options: staying at the IC Dormitory, staying in a private Danish home, or finding housing on your own.

The IC Dormitory has an attractive location on campus (map). The furnished single rooms (28), double rooms (2) and one-bedroom apartments (2) are normally used for PhD students, however during the summer it is a popular choice for AU Summer University guest lecturers staying in Aarhus by themselves or with a partner.
Housing at the IC Dormitory is available in the following periods:

The prices include a 200 DKK booking fee, rent, bed linen, towels and end cleaning. You can find pictures from the IC Dormitory below.
Please also notice that single and double rooms share a kitchen with PhD students and other AU Summer University guest lecturers. If you use the kitchen during your stay, you must clean up after yourself each time. Please also notice that IC Dormitory is not a hotel (no 24-hour service and no Café or meal plans). The reception at the International Centre is open on workdays from 12 noon to 2 pm.

If you are bringing your family and/or wish to stay in a private Danish home, we can help you find housing that suits your preferences via the private market.
The approximate price is 8.000-15.000 DKK per month for a two-bedroom furnished apartment and 12.000-22.000 DKK per month for a furnished family house.
Our service is to establish contact between you and the property owner and to assist you if you have any housing questions before and during your stay. However, you must make the arrangements with the property owner on your own (including signing a contract and transferring the rent).
Many of the private property owners are staff members from Aarhus University staying outside Aarhus during the summer.
