On this page you will find a step-by-step guide on how to select your courses and look up the course timetables to avoid overlaps.
Please read and follow the instructions in the steps below before sending in your course selection form!
Carefully read the information on course selection at your faculty.
Make sure that you read the information on course selection in the subject area/programme that you have applied to.

Search for relevant courses in the Course Catalogue.
You must select 30 ECTS courses in total, and you must take the majority of your courses at the degree programme/subject area you have applied to at Aarhus University.
To register for a course you must meet the academic prerequisites. You can find the academic prerequisites, if any, under each course in the course catalogue.
Check the timetables of the courses you are interested in via Timetable.au.dk to make sure the course schedules are not overlapping. If some of your preferred courses are overlapping, you need to find alternative courses.
You will find a guide on how to add timetables for course modules here.
We recommend that you log in to Timetable.au.dk to get the best overview of the course schedules. In order to log in to AU IT services, you must use AU's two-factor authentication. You can read about this process here.
When searching for modules in Timetable.au.dk you must use their ‘STADS UVA CODE’ that you can find in the course catalogue.
As some courses only run in the first or second part of the semester, you should check for overlaps throughout the entire semester.
The deadline for submitting your course selection form can be found in the email you have received regarding course selection.
