Information for AU partner universities

Our programme consists of a portfolio of courses taught in English at Bachelor's or Master's level within the fields of Culture and Society, Media and Communication, Business, Management and Economics, Psychology, Political Science, Law, Health, Natural Science and Technology.
All teaching at AU Summer University is based on current research and has a strong international perspective. The close link between research and education ensures the quality and depth of the courses.

Class sizes range from 20-50 students. In 2020 96% of the evaluated students recommended the programme to their friends.

Along with the academic programme, we offer accommodation services, visa services and a social programme for all students.

Application opens 17 January 2022.
Term 1: 4 July - 22 July
Term 2: 25 July - 12 August

If there is an existing bilateral exchange agreement between Aarhus University and your institution, you can use it to send tuition-fee waived exchange students to AU Summer University. Students must be nominated by you before they can apply as exchange students.

This year we have two application rounds and thus two nomination deadlines:

Main application round: 15 January - 21 March: Nomination deadline March 14th.

Second application round: 1 May - 1 June: Nomination deadline May 25th.

So right now it is possible to nominate students, but they will only be able to apply from May 1st with application deadline June 1st.

Students nominated after March 14th will receive a confirmation e-mail from us that they have been nominated within a week after receving the nomination. They will also receive an invitation to apply e-mail when we get closer to May 1st.

The courselist for our second round will be available by the end of April. The second application round is first-come-first-served so some courses may be filled up during May.
