Meet Vidur Singh

Vidur is 24 and comes from India, where he completed his undergraduate studies in 2020 from Ashoka University. He is now pursuing his Master’s degree in Computer Science at Aarhus University specialising in Machine Learning and Data Science. When Vidur is not studying he works in a student job at the innovation department at Grundfos.

Meet Harshit from the Alexandra Institute

Harshit Mahapatra from India completed his master's degree in Computer Science at Aarhus University 2020. He decided to stay in Aarhus and now works at the Alexandra Institute.

Meet Max Scheid, IoS developer at Lunar

Max finished his Computer Science studies at Aarhus University in 2020, and decided to stay in Denmark because of its favourable market for computer scientists. According to Max, the wages, level of work flexibility and education in Denmark are high - so as a graduate he can meet many interesting people.

After working in India for more than a decade, Sumeet Karra came to Denmark to pursue not one, but two degrees: an MBA from a business academy and an MSc in Civil and Architectural Engineering at Aarhus University. Sumeet was drawn to Denmark due to the strong reputation of its educational institutions and companies in renewable energy, smart cities, and water supply.

Andreína seized the opportunities she got during her studies in Denmark – and worked hard to create them! Growing a network and having a student job was essential for her to land her first job and settle in Denmark after graduation.

Meet Irfansha , From PhD to Professional : his Life and Career at Kvantify Irfansha Shaik, a PhD Graduate (2023) and PostDoc in Computer Science, has found a great work-life balance at Danish software development company, Kvantify. He enjoys the collaborative atmosphere, and his ability to work from home coupled with the flexibility of his projects makes for a positive work environment.

Meet Mohammed Fahim Chowdhury

Fahim chose to study in Denmark for several reasons. Denmark is highly digitized and technologically advanced, making it an ideal choice for his Computer Science background. Additionally, there is a significant demand for graduates in his field, which Fahim is already experiencing.

Meet Wilson from Vestas, a wind turbine production company

Originally from Brazil, Wilson was drawn to Denmark by its reputation for promoting sustainability. He studied Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Technologies at Aarhus University, and now works for Vestas while living in Ringkøbing, Denmark.

Meet Rojin Gomez

Originally from India, Rojin was drawn to AU due to its ranking as a Top 100 University, and he thoroughly enjoyed his time studying MSc Mechanical Engineering. Rojin decided to stay in Denmark after graduation and now lives in Odense as a Project Enigineer at Mayekawa Nordic.

Meet Maike Lüneburg

During her studies, Maike Lüneburg from Germany prepared well for an upcoming career in Denmark, and after graduation she quickly succeeded in landing a job she wanted. Gaining relevant experience alongside her studies helped Maike land her first job in Denmark - but just as importantly, it also helped her figure out what she wanted to do.

Shivaram Rammohan, a 27-year-old from India, is now enjoying his work-life balance as a Systems and Software Engineer at Trackman in Copenhagen. He completed his MSc in Computer Engineering at Aarhus University.

Meet Achim Klein-Hitpass

Meet Achim, from Germany, who now has an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Aarhus University. After coming to Denmark to study, Achim knew he wanted to stay here for longer, and now, he is working at the Danish software company Systematic and building a life in Aarhus.

Meet Lilia Prelevic

Meet Lilia Prelevic from Great Britain, MA in European Studies, Marketing and Sales Enablement Specialist at ENKOTEC, an industrial machine manufacturer. With a strong interest in European politics and society, Lili was naturally drawn to the interdisciplinary nature of the European Studies Master's programme at Aarhus University.
