The Helsingforsgade 5 apartments are for international PhD students and Postdocs (solo or with families) at Aarhus University. It is the only estate in Aarhus which offers priority claim to internationals.
The estate is adminstered by the social housing organisation called Boligkontoret Aarhus and all questions regarding the estate must be addressed to Boligkontoret Aarhus POST@BK-AARHUS.DK
Unfortunately, the waiting list can be long (years), and you should therefore apply as early as possible. Eventually, you should look for temporary accommodation while waiting on the waiting list.
If you are considering one of the apartments to be your future residence, you have to sign up via www.aarhusbolig.dk The application site is in Danish, so you will have to use Google Translate to fill in your information. These instructions in English will help you.

Please note that as a PhD student and Postdoc, you claim priority. This means that you will get ahead on the waiting list. To claim this, please contact Boligkontoret Århus (udlejning@bk-aarhus.dk) to receive the claim.
