The aim of this course is to provide an in-depth understanding of how services are conceptualized, designed and managed. Marketing issues will be discussed within a broader context of management of services, employees and operations. The role of technology, sustainability and ethics will be emphasized as well. This course provides a strong managerial orientation and strategic focus but with necessary links to theory and academic research.

Ioannis Assiouras an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Associated Member in Centre for Business in Society at Coventry University. He is a Scientific collaborator in Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organizations (LOURIM) in Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium). Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Toulouse Business School in France. Currently, he is the leader of the following modules: Crisis Management and Public Relations and International Dimensions in Marketing.
