This course engages students on the application of procedural, structured, and object-oriented Python programming to solve business problems. The teaching approach will be highly interactive with immediate demonstration of presented Python topics in each lecture through hands-on coding activities by students using both the free comprehensive Spyder Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and a set of Python program templates provided by the lecturer to the students. Students will also be invited to propose business problems that may be solved through Python programming.

Course specific:
To apply for the course you must either be enrolled in a bachelor's degree, have a bachelor's degree or have passed a qualifying entry examination.
The participants should be familiar with basic programming concepts (control and data structures) even from another programming language and quantitative methods including linear algebra and matrices.
