ADMISSION TO AARHUS UNIVERSITY
Aarhus University welcomes applications from nominated students from partner universities. Please contact the International Office or exchange coordinator at your home university to find out if there is an agreement with Aarhus University, and if you are eligible to apply.
Once you have been nominated by your home university, you will receive an email from Aarhus University inviting you to activate your AU account and proceed with the exchange application.
Application for AU Housing is integrated in the exchange application form.
We recommend that you use Google Chrome or Firefox to complete the online application.
We know many of you want to know when to be in Aarhus for the Autumn semester 2026 if you apply for AU Housing. The date of the first intro activity varies across faculties, but we will give you an overview here. Please keep yourself updated on our webpage for more information about our AU Intro Weeks - the information is still being updated.
Faculty of Arts: First intro activity will be the Welcome Day on Sunday 23 August. Faculty-specific intro activities will be held the following week.
Faculty of BSS: First intro activity will faculty-specific intro on Wednesday 19 August. Welcome Day will be held the following Sunday 23 August.
Faculty of Health: First intro activity will be Faculty Day (faculty-specific intro activity) on Thursday 20 August. Welcome Day will be held the following Sunday 23 August.
Faculty of Natural Sciences: First intro activity will faculty-specific intro on Wednesday 19 August. Welcome Day will be held the following Sunday 23 August.
Faculty of Technical Sciences: First intro activity will faculty-specific intro on Wednesday 19 August. Welcome Day will be held the following Sunday 23 August.
