Learning Danish is very useful
Most Danes speak English quite well. Nevertheless, knowing some Danish – even basic words – can be useful. If you follow a Danish course you will not only learn Danish, you will also get to know more about the Danish culture, and Danes and meet other international students. Taking a Danish course will benefit you in several ways and is in most cases also necessary if you want to look for a job.
AU strongly recommends that all international students take Danish courses while studying at Aarhus University. Several great and experienced language schools offer a multicultural learning environment for international students.
