In the studios at Birk Center you can stay alone or you can find a roommate to share with. However, there are some conditions that must be followed:

Only 1 of the persons needs to apply for accommodation via AU Housing.
Only 1 contract will be issued and this will be to the housing applicant. He/she is then in charge of finding a roommate to share the room with.
It is the responsibility of the contract holder to claim the rent from the roommate, as well as to pay the subsequent monthly rent to AU Housing.
When the contract holder terminates the lease and vacates the room, then the roommate must vacate the room as well on the same date.
