At the beginning of 2022, the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics moved into building complex 1870, thereby gathering all its activities under the same roof in the University City. The Bioinformatics Research Centre and DANDRITE also moved into the building complex. The complex covers 23,724 m2.
During the spring of 2022, AU IT also moved into the newly refurbished building complex (building 1872) and, as a result, enjoys a central location in the University City within short reach of the departments it serves.
Location
Building complex 1870 includes the buildings 1870-1874 and is located at the northern end of the University City, between Trøjborgvej and Nørrebrogade. The building complex will be centrally located at the northern part of the University City, close to the northern passage, which will connect the University Park and the University City from 2022.
