Registration for the 2021 DHL Relay Race now open
Aarhus University will once again participate in the DHL Relay Race, and the registration is now open for all employees. It’s time to dust off your trainers and mark your calendar for a cosy evening with your colleagues.
After a break in 2020, when the DHL Relay Race was cancelled because of Covid-19, employees at Aarhus University can once again look forward to a cosy summer evening with colleagues and a brisk walk or run in beautiful surroundings. The relay race will take place in Aarhus and Copenhagen on the following dates, if the Covid-19 situation permits:
Aarhus: Thursday 19 August
More information and registration
Copenhagen: Thursday 2 September
More information and registration
The deadline for registration is 9 June. DHL 2021 will of course be held in accordance with the current Covid-19 guidelines.
Walk or run five kilometres
Whether you want to sprint, jog, walk, talk or attempt to set a record is completely up to you. The four different categories ensure that anyone can participate. You must form a team of five participants in order to register.
Register a team of five for one of the following categories:
- Relay race – women
- Relay race – men
- Relay race – mix
- Walk
All routes are five kilometres. In the relay race categories, one team member will run at a time. In the walk category, the entire team walks the route together. Afterwards, there will be food and drinks, great company and cosy social interaction with colleagues, when all teams meet for an outdoor staff party in beautiful surroundings.
New participants will receive running T-shirts
Employees should reuse the same AU official running T-shirt from year to year. New participants, who do not already have an AU T-shirt, can order one through the team captain in connection with registration. If you have lost or worn out your T-shirt, it is also through your team captain you can order a new one. Be aware that there is a limited number of T-shirts.
