Invitation to a general meeting about the plans for AU’s physical development
Read the full invitation to the general meeting to take place in the Main Hall on 2 May.
Dear staff and students
On behalf of Aarhus University’s management, I would like to invite all of you to a general meeting in the Main Hall on 2 May from 10 to 11:30. At the meeting I will present the plans adopted by the senior management team for the university’s physical development, together with the other members of the management team.
With FEAS’ acquisition of the former municipal hospital property – now called the University City – Aarhus University has gained a unique opportunity to strengthen a variety of our educational and research activities. At the same time, we will expand existing activities and centralise som of the activities which are currently dispersed across different locations. These plans raise a number of questions:
Who will be relocating to the University City? What will take place at the remaining locations? Which subjects, programmes and research groups will be affected by the relocations? And what is the schedule for the relocations? The answers to these and related questions will be presented during the meeting. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and contribute input.
I hope that many of you will join us or participate via the live stream when we unveil the plans for AU’s physical development.
Kind regards
Rector Brian Bech Nielsen
