Peter Balling is a professor of experimental physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Aarhus University, where he has been employed since 1997.
His research is about the interplay between light and materials and ranges from research into the ultra-rapid dynamics of materials to more applied projects, for example within solar cells and medical technology.
