Carsten Bjerg trained as an engineer and started his career at Danfoss before moving on to a position at Grundfos in 1997. Here he held a number of positions, including as Executive Vice President of the R&D department, before becoming CEO in 2006. He served as CEO until 2013, and has since devoted his professional life to board work, including on the boards of Vestas and Rockwool.
