Welcome to Kota Tokuoka who is new postdoc in Keisuke Yonehara's group

Kota Tokuoka is a new postdoc in Keisuke Yonehara's group from April. He obtained his PhD from Kyoto University, Japan, under the supervision of Prof. Tadashi Isa. In his PhD study, he analyzed the function of the cholinergic inputs in the visual signal processing in the mouse superior colliculus. At DANDRITE, he will be investigating the neural basis of innate behaviors controlled by the superior colliculus, utilizing a novel optogenetic method and calcium imaging technique in freely moving mice.
