Watch the eclipse at Moesgaard Museum

Everyone is welcome to watch the solar eclipse at Moesgaard Museum on 20 March 2015. Safe solar telescopes will be available, and staff and students from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Aarhus University will be available to tell visitors about solar eclipses and make sure everyone views the eclipse safely.

The event will start at 9.15. City bus line 18 runs to Moesgaard twice hourly.

Over the course of the morning, there will be talks in the museum lecture.

Safe solar filters will be available, and participant will get a diploma.

In the event of cloudy weather, there will be an extended presentation in the lecture theatre to ensure that no one comes in vain.

All this is free, but admission to the museum’s exhibits is not included.

After the eclipse, you can enjoy a solar eclipse lunch in the museum café.

The museum’s exhibits will open at 10.00 as usual.
