Vote in the university elections today
Use your right to vote and influence who will become members of the AU board, the academic councils and local PhD committees. You can cast your vote starting now, and the polls will remain open until Thursday 14 November at 16:00.
Participate in the university election and vote for a candidate to represent you and your interests on the AU board and academic councils. PhD students can also vote for representatives to their local PhD committees.
If you don’t know who to vote for, you can find your candidate in the candidate list (in Danish).

How to vote
You can cast your vote starting now, and the polls will remain open until 14 November at 16:00. Log on to the system with your AU ID and password for the self-service system (mit.au.dk). The election results will be announced on Monday 18 November at au.dk/valg.

Uncontested and cancelled elections
Please note that in some places there are uncontested and cancelled elections. This means that you will not be able to vote for these elections. As an example, this year’s election for the technical/administrative candidates to the board is uncontested.

They make a difference
The various councils, boards and committees discuss important topics.
At the AU board meetings, the university’s budget and strategy are discussed, while employees on the academic councils are involved in discussions about academic issues at the individual faculties, e.g. in relation to budgets, strategy or recruitment policies.
The PhD committees work on topics such as the selection of PhD courses and evaluation of the supervision activities.
