VIDEO: This is how we work in the corona lab
In the high security lab at the Department of Biomedicine, various drugs with potential applications in corona vaccine are being tested. Associate Professor Line Reinert gives us an update on the work.
Over the course of three weeks, a research team from the Department of Biomedicine have set up a lab for corona research. They have donned their gowns and protective equipment and are now investigating for example whether certain drugs have the ability to mitigate the course of the disease for corona patients and how to prevent the virus from multiplying in the cells.
Associate Professor Line Reinert talks about the corona research in the class 2+ lab and offers a perspective on the prospects for an upcoming vaccine.
