VIDEO: The three finalists for this year's Fogh-Nielsen Competition

The PhD Day 2018 is just around the corner, and as always, three particularly talented PhD students are competing for the main prize in the prestigious Fogh-Nielsen Competition. Meet the finalists and get a brief introduction to their research fields.

On 26 January, the Graduate School of Health will hold its annual PhD Day. During the day, hundreds of PhD students will present their research; but three of them in particular can look forward to even more attention from the other participants. In keeping with tradition, the three selected PhD students will compete for the distribution of the cash prize of DKK 100,000 that follows with the Fogh-Nielsen scholarship.

The winner, and the PhD student who receives the largest share of the prize money, will be the one who can give the best ten-minute presentation of his or her research project. Watch the videos below and get a taste of the finalists' research.

Linn Håkonsen Arendt, PhD student at the Department of Public Health
