VIDEO: Help to spot the next wave of Health talents
Between 15 June and 31 August 2018, ambitious students at Health can apply for admission to one of the faculty's two honours programmes. Do you know a student who has got a little extra will power and ability? Then now is the time to give him or her a little nudge.
Last year, Health launched two initiatives targeting the faculty's most competent and motivated students: A research-oriented and a business-oriented honours programme. During the summer, the next group of talents will be selected for the two programmes. So all teaching staff and supervisors at Health are therefore urged to help spread the word to talented students who are interested in research and innovation.
Both programmes are extracurricular and take two years. The business-oriented honours programme incorporates teaching in entrepreneurship and innovation with focus on how to develop products based on own research results. The research-orientated honours programme provides students with an opportunity to grapple with a research project of their choosing with ongoing supervision and peer feedback, as well as a number of interdisciplinary workshops.
