VIDEO: Help celebrate the faculty's biggest research talent
Support the faculty's brightest research talent when the Skou award is made for the third time this October. That is Vice-dean Ole Steen Nielsen's message in the video.
On Thursday 11 October 2018, Vice-dean Ole Steen Nielsen will present the faculty’s biggest award to an outstanding early career research talent. The award ceremony will be expanded this year with a keynote speaker from the United States and a presentation on Jens Christian Skou on the occasion of what would have been his 100th birthday.
The programme is as follows:
- "The story of Skou's research at AU" by Professor Flemming Cornelius from the Department of Biomedicine.
- "Meeting Skou" by Emeritus Professor Joseph Hoffman from Yale University School of Medicine.
- The Jens Christian Skou award of DKK 100,000.
- Presentation by the award winner.
In continuation of the official programme, the faculty invites to champagne and snacks.
The award ceremony takes place in the AIAS lecture theatre on Thursday 11 October 2018 from 13:00-15:00 and it is open to all staff and students at Health.
