The pay negotiations begin on 1 February

The 1 February 2019 and the following three weeks are when all employees at Health will be able to apply for a pay increase based on their efforts, performance and competences during the past year. The budget for the pay negotiations is determined by the senior management team and is fixed at 0.7 per cent of last year's payroll costs.

If you wish to be considered for a little extra in your pay packet, then you must apply for a pay increase via the relevant pay negotiation form below. You can do this from 1 February 2019. It is important to be aware that the links to the pay negotiation forms will only be active in the period 1-22 February 2019 – and also that you must complete the correct form regardless of whether you are an employee negotiating on your own behalf or whether your union representative is negotiating on your behalf.

In the form, you need to indicate whether you are applying for a permanent supplement for qualifications, a supplement for responsibilities or a one-off bonus. You can read more about the various types of supplements on the AU staff page.

Thorough preparation improves your chances
This round of pay negotiations cover the period 1 April 2018 - 31 March 2019, meaning that it is your merits during the latest year which form the basis for the pay negotiations.

Visit Health's dedicated pay negotiation site on the staff pages to find the criteria that form the basis of any pay increases at Health. These are the criteria you must meet in order to be considered for a pay increase.

Your application should be brief and fill no more than one page.

Where can I find help?
