The faculty celebration has been cancelled
Due to the corona pandemic, the Danish government has imposed a ban on gatherings of more than 500 people up to and including August. Because to this, Health has cancelled this year's faculty celebration, which was planned for 21 August 2020.
This year's faculty celebration has been cancelled, and according to Head of Secretariat Nete Dorff Ramlau-Hansen, there is currently no plan for when the celebration will be held instead.
"At the moment with the situation changing at short notice, we don't yet know whether it will be possible to hold the event later in the year, or whether the employees at Health will have to wait until 2021 to hold a faculty-wide celebration. However, we will certainly make an announcement as soon as we know more," she says.
The other faculties at Aarhus University have also cancelled their own celebrations.
