The Carlsberg Foundation awards DKK 50.6 mil. to 43 AU researchers

Danish basic research gets a major boost with almost DKK 300 mil. from the Carlsberg Foundation — 50.6 mil. of which goes to 43 AU researchers.

There is a wide range of topics in the 44 research projects at Aarhus University which have been awarded grants from the Carlsberg Foundation totalling DKK 50.6 mil.

 

With the grants, the Carlsberg Foundation continues its strategic objective of supporting and ensuring the conditions for the most outstanding basic research within natural sciences, humanities and social sciences.

 

All of the grants have been awarded based on a thorough scientific evaluation of almost 600 applications based on the researchers’ own visionary ideas and project proposals.
