RISM in Gothenburg with running injury peers

In May 2019, RUNSAFE participated in the fourth Running Injury Science Meeting (RISM) at Center for Health and Performance (CHP) in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In May 2019 RUNSAFE participated in the fourth Running Injury Science Meeting at Center for Health and Performance (CHP) in Gothenburg, Sweden. The purpose of the meeting was to present and discuss relevant topics of running injury science.

At the meeting RUNSAFE contributed with the following presentations/talks:

· Karen Krogh Johansen: Eating disorders among Danish male and female middle- and long distance runners.

· Asbjørn Kloppenborg: Field-based measurements of cumulative workload during running, how does it change within running distance across running sessions in the same runner.

· Christina Lyngsø Udby: Definitions of workload used in studies examining the association between workload and training-related injuries (TRI) in sport etiology research

· Rasmus Østergaard Nielsen: Aligning the research goal, causal question and analytical approach in running injury research: Revisiting the concepts of confounding and effect-measure modification.
