Registration for DHL Relay Race 2016 now open
Aarhus University invites all staff members to participate in the DHL Relay Race in Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen. Registration is open until 4 May 2016.
Dust off your trainers and team up with your colleagues, because it's time to get ready for this year’s DHL Relay Race. Aarhus University is participating in the DHL Relay Race in the three largest cities in Denmark:
- Aarhus on 18 August
- Odense on 18 August
- Copenhagen on 1 September
Register for the DHL Relay Race
If you would like to participate in the DHL Relay Race as a member of one of AU’s teams, you need to sign up using the AU registration form. All teams need to be signed up by 4 May 2016.
Details about the DHL Relay Race
Only teams can register. Each team must have five members and belong to one of the following categories:
- Team of runners - men
- Team of runners - women
- Team of runners - women and men (coed)
- Team of walkers
The distance is 5 km for all categories. This will be a relay race between the teams of runners, where the five team members take turns to run the 5 km. The teams of walkers will walk the 5 km together.
All participants will receive running T-shirts
In 2015, it was decided to use AU’s official running T-shirts again from one year to the next. This means that only new members of AU staff will receive a running T-shirt. The design is classic and timeless, so the T-shirt can be used in the coming years.
Due to a production error, the print on the 2015 running T-shirts was wrong, therefore the supplier has delivered a new batch of T-shirts free of charge. This year all members of staff, who participate in the DHL Relay Race, will therefore get a new AU running T-shirt with the right print.
