PhD Cup: Can you do the same as Eva Greibe?
Five years ago, Eva Greibe from the Department of Clinical Medicine won the communication award at the PhD Cup. If you are talented at communicating your research – and if your PhD was approved in 2018 – then perhaps you could be the next winner from Health! The deadline for registration is 1 February 2019.
Communicating complex scientific results to the general public is no easy task. A fact that is recognised by the Danish newspaper Information, the Danish public television company DR and the Lundbeck Foundation. Therefore, they use their joint project – the research communication competition the PhD Cup – to recognise junior researchers who master this difficult discipline.
On the DR website (in Danish) you can see how and why Eva Greibe was named the best communicator at the PhD Cup 2014. The deadline for registration is 1 February 2019, and all applicants receive a reply on 7 March 2019.
The winner of the PhD Cup will receive DKK 30,000, which can either be used for a research trip, an individual programme focusing on written research communication, or a research film.
