New rules for official transport/work-related driving
On 11 December 2014, the Main Liaison Committee decided to change the existing rules for high-rate driving authorisations. The changes have been made based on requests from management and staff at AU.
The changes concern:
- High-rate driving authorisation in connection with special assignments where use of private transport is required
- Repeal of the current provision which states that the high rate is only given after the first 2000 kilometres driven
The rules apply to work-related driving as of 1 January 2015. Driving authorisations, which have already been issued, are still valid in accordance with the new rules.
The new rules and forms can be found here.
