New pool to support the international profile of Health’s lecturers

As part of efforts being made to hone Health’s international profile, a new pool is being made available to support international research collaboration for associate professors who have extensive teaching assignments.

Skilled lecturers are one of the cornerstones of a strong faculty. At the same time, it is essential that teaching is based on the latest research in the field. It is thus (extremely) important that the associate professors who dedicate themselves to lecturing are given the means and opportunities to also be at the forefront of the international research scene.

For this reason, from today it is possible for associate professors to apply for funds from a new funding pool that has been created as part of the internationalisation effort at Health. The pool is intended for associate professors who invest particular effort in the teaching sphere, and whose research activities are international in nature. Support is provided in the form of individual grants for either new or ongoing research projects of between DKK 100,000 – 200,000.

How the funding is used will be very much up to the individual recipient. Associate professors can apply to the pool on the recommendation of the department head by submitting a brief project description and argumentation for the application via the web form

The deadline for application is on Monday the 4th of June 2018 at 12.00.
