New manager for the pre-graduate area at CESU

Adviser Liza Strandgaard from the Faculty Secretariat will become the new manager of the pre-graduate area at CESU. She will take up the position on 1 September 2016 and has been appointed as acting manager for a one-year period.

Since 2011, Liza Strandgaard has been employed as an adviser in the faculty secretariat. She will now take a one-year leave of absence from her current job to take up a management position at CESU.

Together with Senior Associate Professor Bente Vigh Malling and Secretariat Manager Marie Roesgaard, she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre. Liza Strandgaard will be responsible for day-to-day operations and personnel management. Management of the academic aspects of the pre-graduate area is the responsibility of Vice-dean Charlotte Ringsted, who retains overall responsibility for CESU and has the strategic managerial responsibility.

Education is the focal point

"I wish to help support the faculty's strategic focus on high-quality research-based study programmes. Firstly, I am looking forward to getting to know everyone at CESU better. I am also looking forward to seeing the organisation from a new perspective and to bringing my experience of working with other aspects of education into play," says Liza Strandgaard, who has been employed at the faculty for almost ten years.

While working at the faculty secretariat, Liza Strandgaard has e.g. undertaken the role of adviser to the vice-dean for education at Health.

While Liza Strandgaard is on leave, her role as adviser at the faculty secretariat will be undertaken by section manager at HE Studies Administration, Merethe Haugaard.
