New IT system will improve recruitment processes
A new eRecruitment system will make it easier for employees and managers to work with hiring new employees. At the same time, the system is more user-friendly for people interested in jobs at AU. The system will launch on 4 December after several weeks of tests.
In a variety of ways, Aarhus University's new e-recruitment system Emply Hire is better than AU's current system, which will now be phased out. A working group consisting of representatives from the entire university has examined the market to find the best possible supplier.
The new system will provide a better overview of tasks and is more intuitive to use, and it will make tasks such as assessment, screening and matching with local recruitment goals easier. The new system will provide a better overview of tasks and is more intuitive to use, and it will make tasks such as reading applications, evaluating candidates and matching with local recruitment goals easier.
The system will contribute to AU’s digitisation strategy and ambition to make recruitment processes even more uniform and professional across the university.
"It is important to emphasise that the new recruitment system is not only about new IT system – it’s also about a movement in the direction of more uniform, university-wide processes," says University Director Arnold Boon.
"The advantage of uniform processes is that they save resources in the long run – and that we gain an opportunity to learn from each other across the university," Boon explains.
