New clinical professor explores cancer cells

Flemming Brandt Sørensen is the newly appointed clinical professor of pathology at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital.

On 1 April 2017, Flemming Brandt Sørensen will take up a position as clinical professor in Aarhus. This interaction is crucial for how the cancer tumours grow and spread, and increased knowledge about this will make it possible to provide better predictions and understanding of the progress of the disease, targeted therapy and predictions in connection with cancer diseases.

Flemming Brandt Sørensen is DMSc and medical specialist in pathological anatomy and cytology. He comes from a position as consultant in pathology at Vejle Hospital and professor at the Department of Regional Health Research at the University of Southern Denmark.
