How is your data discipline?
Are you a member of academic staff, and do you work with personal data? Then AU's information security manager has some questions for you.
Data protection needs to be strengthened in Europe. For this reason, the EU’s data protection regulation will come into force next May, leading to a range of stricter regulations compared to the current legislation, including increased fines and the possibility of compensation claims for rule violations.
It is therefore important that AU correctly handles its personal data, and in connection with this the university's information security committee has asked the departments to provide an overview of their handling of research data.
One step on the way to doing this is a questionnaire prepared by AU's Security Manager Ole Boulund Knudsen.
The questionnaire survey – which is anonymous – is aimed at all academic staff and should be completed no later than Friday 15 September 2017.
