Health's English website has now been launched
Health's external website has had a thorough makeover. The content has been proofed, navigation has been made easier and the content has now also been translated into English.
On Tuesday, 5 November 2013 Health's external website will be launched in an English version. From now on this is where the main academic area's foreign staff members and partners will find information about departments and school, the latest news, events, collaboration with the region and much more.
Health has ambitions - also internationally
”We really want to stand out more internationally. And an important step in that direction is, of course, that the outside world can keep informed about us and our activities on an English-language website,” says head of communications Ulla Krag Jespersen.
In connection with the launch of the English website Health has launched a new procedure, which means that all internal and external news and announcements will be produced in both Danish and English. This means that almost all web communication in the main academic area will be available in both Danish and English versions from now on.
The next step is an English staff website
The English version of www.health.au.dk is just the beginning of a generally greater focus on English within AU’s administration.
”The next step is the internal website. And we expect that the foreign staff members at Health will be able to use the English version of Health’s internal website (www.health.medarbejdere.au.dk/) by the end of 2013,” says Lise Arnfred, who is responsible for the Health website at AU Communication.
Health's internal website will also be given a thorough makeover, update and possibly restructured before translation. This work will be coordinated with the relevant page owners/web editors, who will be contacted directly if the changes affect them and their area.

The plan for the English language websites at Health is as follows:
- www.health.au.dk is ready 5 November 2013.
- www.health.medarbejdere.au.dk is ready December 2013.
- External websites for the various departments and SKT are expected to be completely or partially translated by the end of the year. The department’s internal websites will then follow.
