Health researcher receives the Boserup Prize 2017
Medical doctor and PhD Martin Bødtker Mortensen from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital receives the Boserup Prize 2017. The prize is awarded for outstanding scientific effort within the medical sciences.
Martin Bødtker Mortensen conducts research into arteriosclerosis. He examines how arteriosclerosis develops, which risk factors are associated with arteriosclerotic related cardiovascular disease, and how to prevent the disease, among other things.
The Boserup Prize is an unsolicited prize of honour of DKK 100,000, which Martin Bødtker Mortensen has been awarded in recognition of an impressive academic effort and as an incentive to continue his research work.
Martin Bødtker Mortensen will receive the award at a reception in Domus Medica in Copenhagen on
29 April 2017.
