Health and Central Denmark Region are holding a research and development seminar

Aarhus University, Health and the Central Denmark Region are together focusing on research and development across the region. Their aim is to improve and support research contexts and coordinated professional development between the teaching hospital and the regional hospitals, also including regional psychiatric and pre-hospital services

The research and development seminar will take place on 30-31 October 2014 in Aarhus. At the seminar the medical specialities will be covered one by one and the professors and chairs will present the potential and ambitions for their speciality across the region.

The professors and chairs will be challenged by a panel consisting of the department head from the Department of Clinical Medicine, the medical director from Aarhus University Hospital and the medical director associated with each medical speciality. The presentation will be based on the medical speciality reports that the professors and chairs have prepared during spring and summer of 2014.

The event will be hosted by Department Head Kristjar Skajaa from the Department of Clinical Medicine and Chief Medical Officer Claus Thomsen, Aarhus University Hospital, who is chairmen of the coordination committee for the hospitals and university.
