Hackers have broken into Health!
Fortunately, the professional hacker has been invited by the faculty. On Tuesday 22 May, he will demonstrate his working methods and explain how it is possible to hack into the systems and information that many of us work with daily. The event is open to all employees at Health.
On Tuesday 22 May 2018, there will be a unique opportunity to get an insight into 'the dark side' when the faculty invites to a hacker seminar. A professional hacker from the IT company Arrow ECS will demonstrate his working methods and show how hackers can break into the university’s systems and trick Health’s employees into giving them confidential information about themselves, their colleagues, the students and patients.
The data protection regulation comes into force in less than a month, so the hacker seminar can be an eye-opening reason for looking at how we as employees best safeguard our data and avoid falling into any traps laid by hackers.
Academic and technical/administrative staff are welcome – remember to sign up and put the event in your calendar
The hacker seminar will be held twice on Tuesday 22 May 2018 to accommodate as many employees as possible. You only need to sign up for one of the seminars:
