Grants for dermatology research
With focus on herpes zoster and atopic dermatitis.
External researcher at DCE Sigrún Jóhannisdóttir Schmidt has received DKK 100,000 from the Aase and Ejnar Danielsen Foundation and DKK 75,000 from the Dagmar Marshall Foundation to carry out a project on the long-term prognosis of atopic dermatitis.
Besides, Sigrún has received a grant of DKK 350,000 from the Edel and Wilhelm Daubenmerkl Charitable Foundation and DKK 25,000 from the Else and Mogens Wedell-Wedellsborg Foundation to finance a part-time research position focusing on the risk and prognosis of herpes zoster.
