Grant of DKK 5 million for stroke research

Consultant Søren Paaske Johnsen from Department of Clinical Epidemiology has received a grant of DKK 5,117,222 from TrygFonden for the project ”Improving acute stroke care”. The aim of the project is to improve treatment of patients with acute stroke through early prehospital identification, effective preadmission assessment as well as knowledge sharing among health personnel working with diagnostics, treatment during transportation and care for patients with acute stroke.
