Grant for research on Z03 patients

Kåre Melchior Hansen, MD, has received a grant of DKK 175,000 from the Danish Tryg Foundation for his project “The course of patients with Z03 diagnosis codes in Danish emergency wards”. By using data from the electronic patient records (EPJ), Kåre will describe in detail the course of the increasing number of patients who receive the diagnosis code “Z03 Encounter for medical observation for suspected diseases and conditions ruled out”. The project is carried out in collaboration with Research Center for Emergency Medicine, the Emergency Department and Department of Clinical Epidemiology, all at Aarhus University Hospital.
