DCE represented at SER and SPER annual meetings
PhD student Cathrine Ladegaard Wildenschild Nielsen from Department of Clinical Epidemiology is attending the annual meetings of Society for Epidemiologic Research (SER) and Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research (SPER), which are held in Boston from June 17 to 21. Cathrine will give a talk and present a poster, both with the title ”Fecundability in women born preterm”. In relation to the conferences, Cathrine has received a travel grant of DKK 10,000 from the Augustinus Foundation.
Another three DCE employees will attend the meetings. Senior researcher Ellen Mikkelsen will present a poster ”Alcohol consumption and time to pregnancy: A Danish prospective cohort study” at the SPER meeting. Assistant professor Deirdre Cronin Fenton will present a poster entitled “Meta-analysis of cytochrome P450 2D6 inhibition and breast cancer outcomes in tamoxifen-treated patients: new perspectives on an ongoing controversy” and post.doc. Jennifer Lund will present a poster entitled “Mortality and the Risk of Cardiovascular Events in Barrett's Esophagus”.
