DCE at ICPE All Access
The International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology & Therapeutic Risk Management (ICPE) is a highlight of the year for many of our staff. This year, the conference was moved online due to COVID-19. The Society hosted a 2-day virtual event called ICPE All Access with live sessions and presentations on demand.

Since we could not meet up with our colleagues from around the world in Berlin, we threw a viewing party in our auditorium – safely distanced, of course. We kicked off the viewing party by presenting our conference contributions to each other followed by interesting keynotes and sessions on the big screen.
We have contributed 20 posters, 10 oral presentations, and 1 session moderation to this year’s conference.
Award for student abstract
PhD student Elena Dudukina has won an award for the 2nd best student abstract submitted to the conference. The award included complimentary registration to ICPE All Access. Elena gave an oral presentation of the study “Threatened Abortion and Risk of Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in Offspring: A Registry-based Cohort Study in Denmark”.
We are looking forward to the next meeting in Seattle in 2021 – hopefully this time we can all meet in person again.
