Congress award

Staff specialist Alma B. Pedersen from Department of Clinical Epidemiology is co-author on a paper that won a prize at the 15th European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) Congress held in London in June 2014. The free paper “Risk for Revision of Metal-On-Metal Cementless Stemmed Total Hip Arthroplasty – Data from the Nordic Arthroplasty Registry Association” was awarded the EFORT Free Paper Award (gold). Claus Varnum received a financial reward of EUR 3,000.
