Buying expensive equipment in 2015

The autumn is a busy time of the year for purchasing equipment for laboratories. Procurement therefore asks all procurement coordinators and purchasers to contact Procurement as soon as possible so we can help you with the mini-competition process.

If your unit is going to purchase devices, instruments or other types of equipment for laboratories and the value exceeds DKK 50,000, please contact Procurement as soon as possible so we can help you with the mini-competition process. 

We can complete a mini-competition process in min. two weeks depending on the complexity of the equipment you want to purchase and the work load in Procurement. In addition, we need to take into account that the suppliers usually need 4 - 12 weeks to deliver the equipment.

The autumn is a very busy time for purchasing equipment for laboratories.

We therefore ask you and relevant purchasers in your unit to observe the deadlines below:

  • 9 October 
    • Deadline for sending requests to Procurement for mini-competitions for equipment which is to be delivered in 2015.
  • 20 November 
    • Deadline for closing mini-competitions in order for delivery to take place in 2015.
  • 18 December 
    • Deadline for delivery and installation of equipment.
