Become an academic mentor or mentee

How do I best administer my time between teaching, education and knowledge sharing? How do I create the best strategy for my research career? And what can I do to get my work noticed in the research environment?

These are some of the questions that may be on the minds of academic staff members at assistant professor level. The mentorship programme Empower Talent! is designed to match members of staff at assistant professor level with more experienced colleagues at associate professor or professor level who want to share their experience and advice.

If you sign up as a mentor or mentee, the programme gives you an opportunity to give or receive advice and guidance, while developing your professional network at the same time.

Are you a member of academic staff at Aarhus University at associate professor level or above? And do you want to make an important difference for a younger colleague? Then become a mentor. Professionally and personally, it’s a rewarding challenge.

Become a mentee

Are you a member of academic staff at Aarhus University at assistant professor level? Do you want inspiration on how to develop and enhance your professional identity and how to increase your visibility and navigate in the world of research? Or something else? Then become a mentee. You will have a high level of influence on your mentorship programme, and you will get to set the agenda of the meetings with your mentor.
